Businesses are encouraged to submit trade declarations via TradeNet and access our eServices via the Networked Trade Platform (www.ntp.gov.sg).

NTP Account Roles

  • Can I register for an NTP Account on behalf of a business if I am not the Key Personnel of the business?

  • No, you cannot register for an NTP Account if you are not the Key Personnel of your business.

    To transact on behalf of a business, the first time login and registration of an NTP Account can only be done by the Key Personnel of the business (i.e. employee who is registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA)). A Singpass account will be required for this NTP Account registration.

     

  • If my business has already registered and set up an NTP Account, what do I need to do to request for access?

  • Access to your business' NTP Account can be attained via the following steps:

    1. Get authorised as a Corppass User on behalf of your business. You will need to approach your business' Corppass Admin for this. (If you already have a Corppass account, proceed to step 2.)
    2. Invite your Key Personnel (i.e. employee who is registered with ACRA) to perform the first time login and registration of an NTP Account.

     

  • What roles can I be assigned upon signing in to the NTP Account via Singpass?

  • There are four types of roles that a NTP user can hold:

    NTP Role Role Description
    Business Admin The Business Admin role is responsible for the administrative housekeeping of the business on the NTP and can act on behalf of the business.
    Business Ops An appointed member by the Business Admin, the Business Ops role manages subscription of Business Services and conducts business transactions on the NTP.
    Technical Ops An appointed member by the Business Admin, the Technical Ops role is responsible for the technical configurations on the NTP.
    Business User An appointed member by the Business Admin, the business user role conducts business transactions on the NTP.

  • Is there a limit to the number of users that can be assigned to each role per business?

  • There is no limit to the number of users that can be assigned to each role.

  • What should I do if I forget my password for my NTP Account?

  • The password for your NTP Account is your Singpass account password. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it on the Singpass website.

     

  • What should I do with my NTP Account if I am leaving my business?

  • You should inform your Business Administrator or Key Personnel to terminate your NTP Account.
